Booking Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing to host your event at HUCKSTER London or Skylark Roof Garden. To confirm your booking and ensure mutual understanding of the terms, please review the following. By paying a deposit or settling the full invoice, both parties agree to abide by these terms.

Event Spend and Payment

  • All food and beverage charges incurred during the event will be applied toward the agreed Minimum Spend until this is exhausted. Any additional goods and services requested by the client will be invoiced at the conclusion of the event and must be settled on the day.
  • If the Minimum Spend is not met, HUCKSTER / Skylark reserves the right to retain the full deposit paid.
  • Payment is due upon receipt of the final invoice.

Guest Numbers and Dietary Requirements

  • Provisional guest numbers must be provided at the time of booking. Final guest numbers must be confirmed no later than 14 working days before the event.
  • The client is responsible for notifying HUCKSTER / Skylark of any dietary restrictions or special requirements for attendees by this deadline.

Cancellations

  • Less than 8 weeks’ notice: The deposit will be forfeited.
  • Full Invoice or Deposit Paid: If the client has made full payment or paid a deposit, funds may be credited toward a future event within 3 months.
  • Financial Balance: Any account balance not used on the event date cannot be carried forward.
  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing to: info@hucksterlondon.co.uk.
  • Force Majeure: In case of unforeseen events such as fire, act of God, or government restrictions, HUCKSTER / Skylark will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the event within 12 months.

Publicity and Use of Branding

  • The HUCKSTER / Skylark name, logo, or contact details may not be used in promotional materials without prior written consent.
  • HUCKSTER / Skylark will not use the client’s name, trademark, or related materials in any publications, advertisements, or social media without prior written consent.
  • Data Protection: We will protect any client data in accordance with applicable laws and best practices. In case of a data breach, the client will be notified promptly.

Client Responsibilities

  • The client is responsible for the conduct of their guests. Any damage to property or financial loss incurred during the event will be charged to the client, to be settled within 7 working days or deducted from deposits.
  • HUCKSTER / Skylark reserves the right to eject or refuse entry to any guest who is deemed intoxicated, threatening, violent, or unable to provide valid identification upon request.

 


 

Event Terms and Conditions

By paying towards your event, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Minimum Spend: The client is required to meet a Minimum Spend on food and beverages, regardless of consumption. Once the Minimum Spend is met, any additional charges will be invoiced at the end of the event and must be paid on the night.
  2. Deposit Retention: If the Minimum Spend is not met, HUCKSTER London reserves the right to retain the full deposit.
  3. Corporate/Promoted Events: A deposit of no less than £1,000 is required for corporate or promoted events.
  4. Last-Minute Bookings: For events booked less than 2 weeks before the event, full payment must be received to confirm the reservation.

Guest Numbers and Ordering

  1. Provisional and Final Guest Numbers: Provisional guest numbers must be confirmed at the time of booking. Final numbers must be confirmed 7 working days before the event.
  2. Dietary Requirements: The client must notify HUCKSTER London of any dietary restrictions at least 7 working days prior to the event.

Cancellations

  1. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made with less than 5 weeks’ notice will forfeit the deposit. If the client has paid the full Minimum Spend, the balance will be refunded minus the deposit. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@hucksterlondon.co.uk.
  2. Force Majeure: If the event is cancelled due to fire, act of God, or government restrictions, we will attempt to reschedule the event.

Publicity

  1. Client Consent: HUCKSTER London will not publicise the terms of this agreement or use the client’s name or trademark without prior written consent.
  2. Data Protection: HUCKSTER London will protect client data according to industry standards and applicable laws, and notify the client promptly in case of a breach.

Client Responsibility

  1. Liability: The client is responsible for their guests’ conduct and any damages or losses incurred during the event, which must be settled within 7 working days or deducted from any deposits held.
  2. Refusal of Entry: HUCKSTER London reserves the right to refuse entry or eject any guest deemed intoxicated, threatening, violent, or unable to provide valid ID.
  3. Lost Property: HUCKSTER London is not responsible for any lost or stolen items, including those left in the cloakroom.

 


General Terms & Conditions

Reservations and Bookings

  • Your booking is confirmed once you and your group have purchased tickets.
  • Tables are reserved only for the duration of your time slot. Extensions are not possible on Saturdays unless multiple time slots are purchased. On Sundays, extensions may be possible, depending on availability.

Securing Your Booking

  • If another enquiry is received during your provisional hold, HUCKSTER?Skylark reserves the right to request immediate confirmation in writing or release the date.
  • All tickets must be purchased under one name to ensure seating together.

Deposit & Payment Terms

  • Your booking is confirmed once the agreed deposit is received, which will be applied to food and drink on the day.
  • The deposit is refundable up to 14 days before the booking date.
  • A card will be required on arrival to guarantee the agreed minimum spend. If the minimum spend is not met, the balance must be settled on the day.

Guest Numbers & Ordering

  • Final guest numbers must be confirmed at least 7 days before your booking date for pre-orders. Payment must be received 7 days in advance for pre-orders.

Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance for a refund.

Service Charge

  • A discretionary 12.5% service charge will be added to your final bill.

Age Restrictions

  • HUCKSTER/Skylark is an over-21 venue. Valid ID may be required on arrival. No guests under 21 will be allowed to order or consume alcohol. If this policy is violated, the reservation will be cancelled without a refund.

Smoking & Conduct

  • Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is prohibited on the premises.
  • HUCKSTER/Skylark enforces a zero-tolerance drug policy. Violations will result in immediate removal from the premises without a refund.
